Overview
This policy explains when refunds apply for Best India Sourcing (BIS). We operate as an agent—not a marketplace—and invest time and cost in research and supplier introductions. To keep things fair, we limit refunds to the pre‑introduction stage.
When refunds apply
- Eligible: A refund can be requested before we share any supplier contact details or make introductions.
- Not eligible: No refunds once we have shared supplier‑identifying information (e.g., company name, website, email, phone/WhatsApp, address), forwarded quotes/catalogs, or initiated a direct email intro.
- Samples: No refunds after any sample purchase order is placed, collected, or dispatched (including when an airway bill is generated).
Non‑refundable scenarios
- Change of mind after work has started (research underway), even if introductions are not yet sent—an administrative fee may apply if we approve a goodwill refund.
- Delays or issues caused by third parties (factories, couriers, customs, ports, strikes, etc.).
- Force majeure events outside our control.
Third‑party costs
Third‑party costs are always non‑refundable. These include courier fees, inspections, lab testing, travel and accommodation, and freight. Typically these are paid directly to the provider; if BIS advances any such costs, they will be settled at actuals and are not refundable.
Requesting a refund
- Your name and company
- Project/product reference
- Date and amount paid, and payment method
- Reason for the request
Processing & timelines
- We aim to review requests within 5–7 business days and, if approved, process refunds within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds are sent to the original payment method. Bank/FX charges and payment gateway fees (if any) are borne by the client and may be deducted.
- For Indian buyers, GST handling depends on invoice status/filings and may affect refund net amounts.
Chargebacks & disputes
Please contact us first to resolve concerns quickly. Unwarranted chargebacks after supplier introductions may violate our Terms of Use, including non‑circumvention provisions.
